How to add GetResponse Webform to Your Web Page

By Bruno Auger On March 25, 2009 Posted under Marketing

We all know that any good landing page or lead capture page has a webform on there to gather leads. Most landing pages have web form boxes on there but it takes a little technical know how to add your form too them.

If you dont have an account over a GetResponse, Click the banner below.

GetResponse has good video tutorials to help you set your list settings and get your web form for your page.

After you get your web form code save it on note pad so you can retreive it later to post your web page. Say your webage looked like this one http://makemoneysteadilyonline.com/

You can look at the source code by going to your browser and clicking View on the menu bar and then view source or just source.

If you have the page already on your computer just open it with yur html editor or in notepad. Either one will work.

If you scrolled down the page looking at source code, you would notice this webform start with

<div class="Object96">

and ends with

</div>.

Erase the all the code between both these snipts of code you will have an area to enter you GetResponse code.

Then you go back to your notepad where you saved your GetResponse code and copy and paste it into the spot where you erased the pervious code on the webpage. Save you work with a different file name and upload it to your server and test your form to see if it works properly. Once it is working properly you can go back and edit the original index.htm form with your correct GetResponse code and load it to your server

If you encounter any problems, just start over again until you get it right. If these directions are to vague for you or lack  the expertise in editting html code, you can always hire someone to edit you webpage. I also can help edit you webpage for a small fee.

Hey Bruno

How does it stack up against Aweber? I’m in the midst of starting an email marketing on TSB.

By the way, nice squeeze page you have there….

Oh, one more thing, the page went to 404 page once I hit the “submit comment” so I thought I should let you know about it.

I use Awber for another list too Yan. The other reason I tried GetResonse is because it allows you to have way more of a subscriber list than Aweber. Aweber only allows you 500 for $19.95.

I’ve been thinking about getting GetResponse for my website for quite some time now, but I never really had the time to get around to doing it. Seems I was wrong, as it seems it takes no time at all! Thanks for opening my eyes on this, Bruno :)

GetResponse is pretty comparable with Aweber in my opnion. I use both myself. Only thing with GetResponse is you are allowed more subscribers where as Aweber is limited to 500
