The Technology Of Indexing

By Bruno Auger On November 30, 2008 8 Comments

One of the main ways in order to have a specific and specialize — as well as indie and effective — search engine optimization process is through the use and understanding of website owners of indexing.  Indexing is the process of search engines using specific algorithmic crawlers to find changes for their search results.  These algorithms are designed in order to link from one another and it is an automated process made by coded information and algorithms that search the Internet automatically to retrieve website information and their addresses for a turn to those who search them.

In the search engine optimization process, indexing is held in high regard because it allows for just how high the search results and history would be for search engines for a specific website.  In simple terms, the way indexing works is through making a website the most relevant by finding just how many people have referred and back linked to that specific site. In order to understand this, just think of an academic journal.  An academic journal which is not so good may be cited once or twice among the academic institution with other journals relevant to the topic.

Its a cold Sunday morning here. It actually snowed over night but nothing significant. As you know, we all need backlinks pointing to or site to help in the search engines. Here is my list of what I use to create links pointing to my site.

1. Write 1-2 articles a weeks, distribute to about 500 article directories or more with your researched keywords in the bio. These articles will provide one way links, if written well others will download the articles and use them on their sites which will give you more one way links.

2. Post to directories and make sure you research the keywords, and put those keywords in the title.

3. Post to forums and in your signature have links with your keywords.

By Bruno Auger On October 29, 2008 5 Comments

The first question that a corporation, firm, or business asks itself is how could we profit from this.  Therefore, in the discussion of search engine optimization, it is also a important detail to discover what kind of market search engine optimization has, its profitability, and why more and more experts in data mining, data gathering, marketing, computer technology — almost any kind of industry — are shifting their profession toward search engine optimization.  It also addresses the question of why search engine optimizers are one of the most highly paid online or off-line, freelance or official, websites and Internet personnel today

One of the details that a search engine optimizer must address in order to understand his or her market is the basic physics of Nero psychology that individuals view webpages from top to bottom and left to right.  Therefore, in the placement of advertisements in page design, such decision-making processes of how to lay out the page in order to address the largest number of consumers and therefore eventually result in future sales is addressed by the search engine optimizer.

What is Search Engine Optimization?

By Bruno Auger On October 24, 2008 8 Comments

Before we are able to understand the impact of search engine optimization in the modern architecture of the Internet, we must first be able to identify why it is needed and how users search the net. When one needs information off the Internet, one does not prefer to a proverbial yellow pages of websites and a list of their specific URL addresses.  Instead, the user would go to a search engine.  Popular search engines today are Google, Yahoo, ask.com, MSN.com, and so forth.

These search engines provide a search box where in users may be able to input searching keywords in order to retrieve the websites with relevant data.  For example, typing in Microsoft to the search box that Google would yield the results of the main website of Microsoft Corporation, the Microsoft download Center, an article in Wikipedia concerning what Microsoft is, the Microsoft help and support Center, the Windows update Center, and so forth.

By Bruno Auger On October 14, 2008 9 Comments

If you have visited the internet you might have come across search engines when you are looking for websites. Search Engines, like Yahoo or Google, helps you find a particular web page by using keywords. These search engines will search the whole web for the most relevant site that will correspond to the keyword you have inputted. Usually they will put the websites in the order of its relevance. This is called the search engine relevance page (SERP). SEO or search engine optimization helps website to increase its potential relevance and ranking in the SERP.

The term search engine optimization was coined in 1997. Back then search engine algorithm was based purely on webmaster-provided keyword meta tag. These keyword meta tag was deemed unreliable because it is inconsistent with the keywords found on the website. This results to inaccurate searches and irrelevant SERP’s. Also the page rankings are often manipulated by webmasters. Then in 1998 Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Stanford University developed Google. This search engine relied on mathematically calculated algorithms that produce relevant and accurate search page results.
